Nordmann Fir (Abies nordmanniana)
The Nordmann Fir was first introduced to Britain in 1848 and is now the most popular Christmas Tree in the UK. It is a high quality non-drop fir tree ideal for decorating your home this Christmas, retaining its needles and with a lush glossy green leaf having a silver colour under branch.
The tree also gives off a fragrant forest aroma.
Norway Spruce (Picea abies)
Norway Spruce is the original "Christmas Tree" species. Naturalised in Britain it is grown in plantations for timber and Christmas sales. It usually has a regular, conical shaped crown and densely packed sharp needles which closely hug and nearly cover the stalks. The bark is thin and cracked, it usually has a reddish appearance. The cones always hang downwards and can be up to 18cm in length.
